Hot Topic: Proof George Lucas Trying to Destroy Star Wars - Original Versions - Discuss...

A new series that I might do, just once in a while covering a 'Hot Topic'...an issue you guys can discuss, concur, disagree, or whatever...

are you sure Lucas doesn't own Indiana Jones too? i thought he owned that series too since all the video games based on Indy were made by Lucasarts. I know for a fact that Lucas created all the story outlines for the Indy flicks and he help create the character with some help from Spielberg.

@portalplayer I think Spielberg would own part of it since he directed all 4, and Lucas would more than likely have to get his approval (and Spielberg at least has as much power as Lucas, as well as fame and such). And at least the films haven't been altered, and you can find them on DVD and such no problemo...unlike the original versions of Star Wars.

i heard george lucas is retiring SW search it "george lucas retiring star wars" so that means hes no longer in control of the sw universe!!! i hope and make EU canon witch i hope so and get the originals back without those crappy editions

for me star wars was about connecting with everyone around you to come together and love this thing to death and get a bond from it (how much fun do u have when u enjoy sw with a friend? i enjoy it a lot!!!) But now sw is about corporations and merketing and it was more then that :(((

I hope that one day The Original Versions of The Star Wars Trilogy will be restored in HD for Blu-Ray. I did not buy the Blu-Ray set as well. I am going to wait until The Original Versions are on Blu-Ray in HD. For now I am happy with my DVDs of The Original Trilogy.

Due to all of these unnecessary changes these classic films no loner look, sound, and feel like the classic films they once were.

@ramboraph4life oh sorry i thought Irvin kershner was alive my bad but fuck George i agree with you people should not support the fat fuck and not go watch the movies in 3d but Matt it doesn't matter what ever the product is if its a game music movies anything it doesn't matter people will still go see the movies in 3d cos its star wars people don't care anything related to star wars they want which means Lucas can dish out as much garbage as he wants
