Countryboy. The camry is a good car but that is pretty high milage, a 96 is also pretty old. I personally would look for something newer and lower miles

lol there goes the re-sell value! soon as all them numbers turned the value of that car went down soooo much! lol. i had a 96 monte carlo and i remember when it turned over to 200k miles. after that the thing turned into trash, got loud, started falling apart, but i loved that car but had to scrap it.

Nice, my Camry is at 289,717 miles. If it last's long enough to hit 300k on the original engine, a local Toyota car lot wants to make a commercial featuring my car. =) Congrats on the 200k though, that's Sweet!!

i just crashed my eclipse and the insurance company gave me $2500 for it... i need to buy a new car. there is a 1996 camry with 260,000 miles on it.. the interior looks like NEW! and the outside looks AMAZING! its black no scratches or dents.. but he wants $2000 for it. should i buy it? and is it worth it? or should i buy a car with lower miles on it?
