Chubby came to our house 1st August 1998. He passed away on 16th July 2006 by the cancer. Just 8 years old. We lost very sweet family member. this is the memorial movie of CHUBBY.
I remember watching this video around 2 years ago. I was in tears and was hugging my own Basset Hound Roger dreading "the day". That day was May 11, 2011. The hurt is still raw up to now. Watching this video actually helps me remember hugging Roger that day. Chubby looked like he was definitely a character! I truly understand your loss first hand. Thank you for this lovely video.
Thank you for your beautiful memorial. I recently lost my basset to a very agressive spinal cancer after surgery and kemo. He gave me 9 years of devotion. Somehow seeing your video and knowing Quincy is in heaven playing with Chubby helps to ease my pain of loss. Thank you so much for sharing.
That was a beautiful memorial to your dog! I had amy Bassett for 14 years and just lost her last yr so I understand what you must have gone thru. Just love the one you have now and know he/she will bring you happiness as well! God bless and thank you for helping me to remember all the good memories of my Bassett!!
Chubby was a beautyfull "child"... that´s way I call my "little child" - hercules. He has 3 years old and I love him sooooo much! Every time that I see this video I cry, because I have fear to lose him someday...
I need to qualify my comment about being insensative... It is directed only towards "Pinchitogruesolargo" and not towards any of the other great comments. I too lost my Basset Daisy in Sept 2004 due to heart desease. I knew as soon as I read the title of the video that I was going to cry my eyes out for you and Chubby. I am happy that you were so thoughtful to take so many pictures when Chubby was only a puppy. Thank you so much for sharing your's and Chubby's wonderful life with us all!
