Work on Snow Park soccer field in Brockton kicks in

For years it was known as Salisbury Park, then it became Snow Park. Now, it is the citys newest soccer field. The field is in the final stages of construction, with an area that was often wet raised to provide a level playing field for the citys youth.
Were basically looking to build a nice little municipal field to be used by the School Department with public access, said Moises Rodrigues, the citys communication director.
The field is being built with a $245,000 state grant and $100,000 in matching city funds, awarded last year.
