How come alderman and others who hold public offices can carry (here in Chicago) but not everyone else.

The ones fighting against the 2nd amendment are mostly Democrats. They want to give everyone health care but not the right to defend themselves? So Mary Anne can take little Johnny to the doctor's for free because he has a cold but when she is facing some piece of trash sicko in a dark alley she has no options.......So much wrong with this government.

The only time that they really make an effort to get out is when you mention a gun.
When someone's dogs came over and tore one of the rabbit cages off the wall and ate the rabbit, I called it in and said I was going out to look for them with my shotgun.
Boy, was I amazed when they actually showed up not 10 minutes later.

CA,WI, NY also, right? (Antigunners) Too bad. Our states were anti for a long time as well..
