The problem is that all of the payphones in Chicago are located in Navy Pier. I counted at least 18 both inside and outside there (little kids were mostly messing around with them). Other than that, I haven't seen ANY on the street corners, and very few in any other indoor facilities, even in malls.

4+ years later there are even less payphones around. All the payphones that existed on our streets back in 2006 were all removed around 2009.
