Friendly deer in Elder Scrolls

So I was playing Elder Scrolls VI: Oblivion (PS3), and noticed this deer up in the mountains who wasn't running away. I dismounted my horse and it just started doing this crazy little dance around me. I found it very odd and funny, since I've spent the whole game with deer not letting me get within 200 feet of them without bolting. Probably a glitch, but still... I wanted to test how my camera records off the tv, anyway. Ugh... Not well.

Horse is Shadowmere, by the way. Look it up if you don't know. And the Shrouded Armor/Hood are likewise from the Dark Brotherhood quests.

The new one looks freaking epic. I can't wait. x_x It's supposed to be set 200 years after this one. Though none of them are really connected in the first place - it's like Final Fantasy. XD
