Cheers for tank tip, i'll be ordering it today as although i've made do, the room really is needed. I've had quite a bit of use from the rib lately and it hasn't missed a beat. With 2 adults we clocked 28knts on the gps.

This is good to see. I have the same rib but with a tohatsu 30hp that i'll be launching for the first time tomorrow. What's your top speed roughly?

@ioan1974, i've not long had this one, and havent put a gps in it yet, but the previous owner stated 25knts with two adults. So its nice and quick..

@actionsone, Yep, it's pretty quick. Was out today on it for the first time and was very impressed. Gets a little spritely in the chop but is very fun. I'm thinking about installing a fuel tank in the seat locker though because it takes up too much deck space.

@ioan1974 Installing a fuel tank in the console is definately the best thing to do. I recently purchased one on e-bay which fits perfectly. It was from pacer marine and is pretty sturdy. Its a 22 ltr tank and is long and thin making it easy to slide in and out of the console for fueling. Item number for ebay was 360178198228 if your thinking about it. Did you take out a GPS at all and get a speed?
