47-second CNN video of a nonviolent protester being pepper sprayed, paint-balled, pushed to the ground, hit with bicycles, briefly targeted with two laser sights (visible in CNN version at 0:13/0:14) and otherwise roughed up by several police officers during the 2008 Republican National Convention on September 4th, 2008, in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Just sitting here with baited breath after posting it and waiting for the inevitable comments about how this sister deserved it, from the vocal redneck mentality that governs American politics and discourse these days.
They did this stuff to journalists, legal observers, and residents of the city during the week they turned the capitol of Minnesota into a police state so the Republicans could have a big wank about abortion, Alaskan oil, and the "soccer mom" VP who once voted against equal pay for women...

This just goes to show that they have no respect at all for peaceful demonstrators and that there moto is "The Power of the Gun Shall Prevail"!!...they are also showing that they are actually affraid of peace!!...why is that?...because it is the power of the people!!...of course they are afraid of the power of the people!!...they know we just need to turn our backs on the leaders for there domination to crumble!!...even if it's very difficult with all their agressions, stay focused on PEACE!!

I live in St. Paul and I am totally discusted. If this is not a statement on how and where our country is going..I dont know what is. Freedom is no longer part of this country..and if you think it is...your living in a box.
