Possible against beginners, thanks for making an effort in world of jui jitsu. that’s why when applying kamura from the bottom make sure you keep ur guard high or bring one leg over the back so the opponent can’t go anywhere. Worst case u trap same leg you have the kamura so when opponent rolls you can follow him.

That will be a tough move to pull off in a live situation, your opponent will roll on his right shoulder as soon as you try to readjust yourself for the Americana, he will Chin Strap you, then sweep you. It won't work.

There are 2 problems with this 1)your opponent body is not secured 2)If the kimura is done right from the start, your opponent would have had your body controlled not allowing you to roll.

@WWEwrestlingfan190 Thanks for the comment, however you can easily secure your opponants body by placing your knee across the stomach, or by looping over the tricept to prevent movement. Your second point is the purpose of this entire video, it is a counter, Which implies that the original kimura was not appplied correctly or quickly enough therefore allowing the counter i am showing here.. this video shows IF the kimura is not applied with the correct leg poisitioning it IS an option. Thanks!

Thanks for the comment mate ! Appreciate the input .. Yeah the inverted counter ain't a high percentage counter really just an option if your opponant does not close guard or half guard. Like i showed you can snake your arm under to prevent the kimura if you have a chance. However it's just an extra option mate..

The Submission is not high percentage but one that i have been able to use when rolling if you can get the pressure applied quickly. My advice if your opponent tries to lean off then quickly place your knee and weight over the chest and shoulder region. The quicker the pressure is applied before your opponent can react the better.
Thanks for the comment bro !

@wilbur111 Good point, the counter was not shown in this video, however we did go over that point. Simple place your knee across your opponants stomach or chest to prevent any roll or inward movements.
Thanks for the comment !
