Kent Hovind was sentenced to ten years in federal prison on January 19, 2007. In November 2006, a federal jury found Hovind guilty of fifty-eight charges, including failing to pay payroll taxes for his employees.

Hovind's doctorate was in "Christian Education" from the Patriot Bible University which is not accredited by any recognized accreditation agency. He has no scientific qualifications. His dissertation has no title, no TOC, outlines 16 chapters but contains only 4, has no bibliography, and is full of errors such as "geological epic" for "geological epoch", and "centrifical force" for "centrifugal force". It contains no original research, the basis on which a PhD is supposed to be awarded

It's real easy to pick Hovind apart on a video because:

1. He can not defend himself and embarrass the author.

2. He is not able to do so at this time.

I love how the author of this video like to talk in a language that the ordinary person can't understand. I figure two reasons why he does this:

1. To show how "smart" he is and how much mommy and daddy spent on his education

or

2. To blow smoke because if he put it in words the layman could understand you would see through his argument.
