@ferlottes your right. it totally doesnt makes sense to compare two things at their ideal setting. since, all parameters of all manufactures of all models are made to the same specifications.

To me, the CP9 sounds more musical. I can get a good sound from the CS2, but it takes some tweaking. It's easier to get there on the CP9

@ferlottes Actually, had you been paying attention, the amount of compression was identical on all three. Obviously you have the level settings have to be different on all of them in conjunction with the output impedence of each pedal. And the attack was all the way up on both the Boss and the Ibanez pedals. It was set lower on the Ross clone, but I imagine he had to do that to get it to match the attack coming from the others. He did this exactly right.
