Here is the definition of sovereignty, from the American Heritage Dictionary. Tell me if you see anything about "security" in any of the meanings....

3. Complete independence and self-government.

And that is very bad. Division between territories of people had lead to buildup of generations of pointless mistrust and antagonism between other peoples and societies, always leading to senseless wars and conflicts of interests that left human civilization at stagnation. You know, people should really start think outside the box and do away with obsolete concepts such as nationalism, sovereignty, ethnicity and other stuff.
