How to make CD-IN to RCA jack Cable for a Home Recording Studio - www.sheersounds.com
How to make a CD-IN to RCA jack Cable. Turn your PC into a Home Recording Studio. Using Audacity or Ardour for your software. This little cable will allow you to put your mixer or laptop or old tape player or old record player directly into your motherboard. You can use it to make your own studio recordings to saving your old tapes, LP's, or 8-tracks to cd quality recordings. • that's a great input you've made!!!

  • @keglimp - thank you. I got the idea from a dead CD burner I had. I was like....would it work if I did this?? LOL....and low and hehold....it does....How lucky LOL...cheap to make to. No fancy stuff needed to buy no fancy software either lol

  • Could i cut the other end off and twist those wires to a usb wire and use that, so i have the one end with the rca female ports and the other side with a usb, i know they sell something like that on ebay, but im looking to save money and do it myself, thx jay

  • @espltdm251playa - I will be honest....I do not know....but to me...i think that would not work...simply because...your computer will not know that particular device is supposed to be a sound card...the way i do it works well because....that is the job of the CD-IN of the motherboard. But give your way a try...and let me know how it turns out :)
