UNIMAT1 CLASSIC from TheCoolTool®

For model-making professionals and technicians who wish to produce precise work pieces with an accuracy of up to 1/10mm, we recommend the UNIMAT1 CLASSIC from TheCoolTool®.

The CLASSIC kit contains all the components of the BASIC kit and much, much more:

Indispensable for machine makers is the three jaw chuck for positioning of a metal slug, the clamping jaw for accurate fixing of the included high-speed turning steel, and the three sledges allowing for the ability to work in any angle and any position.

For additional machine variations, the UNIMAT1 CLASSIC kit contains the components necessary for building-up to a stationary drilling machine, a metal turning machine, and a horizontal- and vertical mill. It also comes with a construction plan book, and the UNIMAT 1 handbook.
Due to the wide range of available accessories, an endless array of other machine tools can be constructed. For the UNIMAT1 professionalist, a gear mill for building gear wheels is only the beginning. The system even allows for the possible construction of a spiral mill. The extensive information materials enable the interested user to take the first steps into the world of professional machine engineering.

Within reason, any machine you can think of may be possible. For special machines, any single part, up to the smallest screw, is available. The UNIMAT1 CLASSIC opens new dimensions in applications and precision. In addition to the machines found in the BASIC unit, the UNIMAT1 CLASSIC will amaze you with functions seen only in larger, more expensive lathes and mills. Jigsaw:
The powerful jigsaw can be used with plywood, solid wood, balsa wood, plastics and thin sheets of soft metal. It has a cutting capacity of up to 20mm balsa, 7mm solid wood. No annoying opening and clamping of the jigsaw blade when cutting windows and holes.

Main uses: fret work in plywood, precise sawing of tarsia in veneer wood, adjusting of printed boards, and many simple household repairs.

Special use: The only child-friendly jigsaw in the world. The short strokes allow for precise cutting, but can only vibrate the skin, thus not allowing the skin to be cut by the blade! Ideal for both your intricate work and the child's projects.

Wood Turning Lathe:
The smallest lathe in the world creates elaborate pieces of turned wood. With a distance between centers of 135mm (expandable to 324mm) and a maximum center height of 25mm (extendable to 50mm with option), the efficient 12V power machine works smoothly. Now the hobbyist has a lathe for those small work pieces, and youngsters from.
6 years of age and up can participate in the first steps of woodworking without any danger.
Main use: scale masts, railing parts and gun barrels of historic ship models, a wide variety of turned furniture and dishes for the dollhouse, and miniature spinning wheels.

Sander:
The stationary rotating sanding disc provides the final touch to your workpieces. In addition, you can now keep all of your tools and other everyday objects well sharpened. From your scissors to carving knives, the annoyance of dull blades is finally done away with.

Handheld Sander:
With a simple removal of a few handles from the machine bed, you now have a practical handheld sander. This variation works very well for those hard to reach places. Finally, the spots of rust on that good old 1973 Volkswagen Beetle can be removed.

Handheld Drill:
Just replace the sanding disc with a drill (0.5 to 6mm), fix it with a collet, and you have the perfect tool to reach those hidden places that need drilling.

Metal Turning Lathe:
Turn soft metal just like a toolmaker. Longitudinal and cross slides with mm-scaled hand wheels allow for precise work of up to an accuracy of 0.1mm. Built with the same quality components as an expensive lathe, the UNIMAT 1 metal turning lathe gives the user the opportunity to make axes, rims, metal connectors and much more, both efficiently and effectively.

Horizontal Mill:
The tool of choice for architectural models, groove and tongue connections, and other fittings. Collets with 0.5mm to 6mm diameter clamping range promote a true running for the milling steels.

Drill Press:
Precise drilling in every conceivable angle. The machining center will allow for work on the X-, Y- and Z-axis. Three precise slides, two of which turn 360 degrees, allow for 3-dimensional work. This is a real source of enjoyment for the technician.

Vertical Mill:
Assembled with the included HSS milling cutter, the drill press changes into a vertical mill. In addition, you can use virtually every commercial milling cutter, including end milling cutters and T-slot cutters up to a fixing diameter of 6mm.
