  • The extraordinary thing is that in spite of the new technology which allows computers and automated factories to replace much of human labour, and in spite of the doubling of the workforce with women now working full-time, we are still expected to grind ourselves into the ground as we 'multi-task' and 'work under pressure', competing with one another to prove ourselves more 'highly motivated' and 'task-assertive' than the next poor slave to the System. Why?

  • @archdeaconj Interested in ways YOU get better work-life balance.

I will not hurt my feelings if you do not have time to reply. Keep up the great work.

  • Thanks for the kind words. So keep looking around.... and whatever you add to favourites in particular sends a powerful signal to the search engines that the video will be useful to others. Patrick

  • Hi Mr. Dixon, I admire your way with words and how you tie prosaic words up and still hit a substantial point. Thanks for reminding me where I left my passion along the way. I'm looking forward to more of your talks.
