Salesforce's Julie Liegl shares a live update from the Salesforce.com booth at Oracle Open World where Salesforce has teamed up with Salesforce.com Foundation to encourage Oracle Open World attendees to take part in a volunteer activity happening live at the booth. Through the 1% time +1% product +1% equity model, all Salesforce employees are able to donate 1% of their time at work each year to volunteer for causes they believe in. At Salesforce's Open World booth, Julie puts together a snack kit for the UCSF Children's Hospital. The kits will go to the families of child patients who must spend overnight at the hospital. If you're attending Oracle Open World this year, stop by the Salesforce booth and volunteer a few minutes to build a UCSF Childrens Hospital family kit. • That is a great idea to allow your employees to volunteer on the Salesforce dime.
