Toronto's Africentric School: Is it Needed? Is it Wanted?

Registration for the Africentric school initiated by the Toronto District School Board has been less enthusiastic than organizers would have liked. As the deadline for sign-up approaches, many wonder if the school is really wanted by the African-Canadian community and debates continues over whether it is needed at all. Discussing the issue are Grace-Edward Galabuzi, a Ryerson politics professor and proponent of the school, school board trustee Josh Matlow, who opposes the school, Toronto District School Board trustee Josh Matlow, who also opposes the school and George Whitfield, principal of an Africentric school in Akron, Ohio.

1) they've been brainwashing your africans for centuries & controling what they thought, how they felt.They built a negative image of the original human, in order to value themselves in contrast to this image. What made it possible was that they forced us to behave as they wished. Now such a school is undermining this system.

2) Youg africans being well tought also threatens their global lootin system.

@polutc Are you really THAT stupid? Canada's been involved in money laundering for decades. Where does that money come from? The constant looting of african people's natural resources. Were it not for that non-stop invasion which has been going on for centuries, Africans would never have to flea their countries from the dictators that your armies set & protect there. Want a change? I am in agreement with MuanaKongoK. Why aren't there any discussions regarding jewish schools (or other cultural/ethnic or religious centered schools)? Any argument waged against there being an Afrikan-centered school can be waged against a Jewish-Centered school yet there is not outcry or protest about that? Jewish Schools in Toronto: When will that debate be placed on the table?

@Richy0money Bullshit. There would be no technical advances today without knowledge of the past technologies/sciences. Math theorems & physics formulas don't just pop into one's mind, how naive. If they want their kids to be safe from your racism, then let them be what does it matter to you anyway? Second, there are also jewish & muslim schools which get public funding, but I never seen anyone talk debate over it.
