Because a band like meshuggah used polyrhythms, then every band that comes after them is a copy if they use polyrhythms?
If that's the case, I've got news for you, friend. Meshuggah copied every band to have ever used an odd time signature.
Meshuggah doesnt own polyrhythms. Furthermore, Meshuggah doesnt use kepboards or create passages of melodic ambiance, something that Textures does frequestly.
There are not that many similarities between the two bands
