age of conan DX10 HD (old content)

This is Age of conan in DX10 HD on testlive. most of it was shot in 1920x1080, with 2 sceens in 1280x720. i tired to get more radio blurs, but its hard to get the timing right when recording and fighting at the same time.

I will remove any flaming comments or comments that criticize my game play style.

OKAY, EVERYONE KEEPS COMPLAING ABOUT THE OVER ALL FRAMERATE. READ THIS OR DO NOT COMMENT!!! YOUR COMMENTS WILL BE REMOVED IF YOU DO NOT READ THIS AND YOU COMMENT ON THE FRAME RATE: at the time of this recording dx10 was NOT fully optimized. It is a lot better now, but still not quite there. At the time of this recording, dx10 had a 50% frame rate reduction. NO JOKE. Then when doing uncompressed full quality screen capture, the frame rate gets chopped in half AGAIN! So lets do the math: live version 60 fps average: dx10 = reduction to 30 fps. Screen capture from there = 15 fps! This is only approximant, and when doing screen capture, I found my fps was normally at 20 fps average. So before commenting, say OHHHHhHh okay that makes since I wont make a moron of myself! So frame rate whores, this is not a video showing off frame rate, this is a video showing off up and coming content in a game. The content showing off is still in TEST. This means its not finalized. If you think my pc sucks at playing the liver version, THINK AGAIN, and go watch my amphitheater runs. They are excellent.

nope, still just DX10 and DX9. they did however release a update back in spring that optimized performance on both platforms, and made some features that used to be DX10 only now function in DX9....

btw, the game is now free to play.

@MisterBegic last i played it was anywhere between 45 and 60 fps (normally at a steady 60)... i enabled v sync in the nvidia control panel, so it would not pass 60 (to prevent screen tearing).... i have not played the game ever since they added the dreamworld update.

age of conan= best mmorpg with great graphics and combat system...but also..with many bugs and lack of people..i quit cuz not many ppl were playing...and it felt shit..to play with low graphics
