Digging through my old stuff, I found this old video from a "how-to build your own PC" guide I was working on at the time.

Often, we would have customers install 180 degrees backwards, blowing up the RAM and the motherboard.

  • ? YOU KNOW MORE THAM ME DANM

  • Actually, when I worked RMA for the now defunct TCWO I would get A LOT of fried boards and RAM back from people installing RAM backwards. Good thing is, only the particular slot becomes unusable. The board isn't completely fried.

  • why can i use all 4 slot i need 4gb

  • nothing will happen it depends by the motherbaord

  • what are the chances of blowing the motherboard by putting it in wrong?

  • where do you buy SDRams in Toronto?

  • my ram slot is freaking unbelievable hard to insert a ram card in, why is tat so hard and how can i make it a bit like ur just push in and it in.

  • i got 2 slots DDR2 (533) & DDR(400)

    in DDR(400) i have 2 cards 1gb 512X2

i wanna extend the memory ... which slot is better to extend?!

    p.s i wanna 2gb at least!

  • Good!
