You know whats funny is, you could've probably grabbed a Phaeton for $50k when they sold them and they were actually worth that much.

I admit this is one of the more impressive VW's i've seen i love the design and can see the similarities to the mercedes CLS but for the price of this car you could get a bmw 3 series or a mercedes c class for the same price and most likely with nicer interiors.

starts upper 20's with a 4 cylinder engine. then you start adding the stuff you want then you get up to the upper 30's and if you want some bling, your in the 40's +.......add tax and lic, you got maxed out 50 g's

Are you serious?? 50K for a VW I thought this car was in the more upper 20's lower 30's range.

I believe those rims are 17"s. They need some 20"s on a car like that. All flagship car should have 20 or better.

nice looking car but i think its overpriced at $43500. after dealer markup and tax, your looking at $50k for a VW. you would left the car dealer wondering, "what the hell did i just do?"
