I speak spanish and I'm from the caribean and from what I have read maroon comes from the spanish word simaron which means wild can not be controled that is why they called those blacks slaves maroons because they could notbe controled I dont blame them no body diserves to be controled specially like a slave and there is also maroons in the spanish islands too. only this blacks speak spanish. respect.

Whites don't mention it either but we know they engaged in quite a bit of cannibalism. Read your own history. Fascinating. Also, according to many historians most of the so-called cannibalism tales told about Africans were created to support the "savages who were saved by slavery" yarns told by white slavers. Its in the books.

Our holicost can be found in the holy bible, deuteronomy 28 chapter, please read it and you will know why we were brought here as slaves. we are the hebrew israelites, God chosen people and every nation or race of people that rule this world have to have as thier slave to build thier kingdom because of how great of a people we are, starting with the Egyptians, the Babylonians, the Medes and Persians and now its the so-called white race, so take some time out and study your history in the bible.
