Amazing Storm Surge footage from a beach on Guam as Super Typhoon Yuri passes to the south of the island on November 27, 1991. At its closest point of approach to Guam, Yuri had maximum sustained winds of 150 knots (175 mph)!

Being that I am from Nova Scotia,Canada we don't get these types of storms, the worst we get is snow storms and the tail end of hurricanes because once the hurricanes come in contact with cold waters the hurricane dies down. My questions to you is where are you standing when the storms are so close to splash in front of the camera and does it scare you to be that close and I heard of storm chasers for tornados do you chase down hurricanes?

@Elizabeth195852 .Yes I do chase hurricanes. Also a typhoon is the same thing as hurricane. Yes I chase tornadoes too in the middle plains of the U.S.

I waited for the surge to settle down for a few moments which is common as a storm comes in but gets higher as time goes on. I just walked out of that area.

Inarajan is on the southeast coast of the island. It is a picinic park next to the ocean.
