My God I've never heard this song sung with such sexual undertones. The Beatles never gave me "Fever" live Elvis does. There truly was nothing he couldn't sing. Everything he sang was soulful and from the heart. He was so polite and it appeared he was a gentleman thank fans for lei's and for their applause. Elvis truly was one of a kind; I feel sorry for those who haven't really listened to his music, voice, range and versatility.
@matizzle32 Elvis had no intellectual property so that it made him a leech. He became basically a cover version king. "Something" proves that!. Nor Beatles escaped from Elvis attack!
Easy to explain??????? You don't know shit about his composing skills as YOU WERE NOT THERE! Don't be so assuming. You are only allowed to know as much as the next guy. The only ones who can truly testify to such claims are the one's who were around him. Plain and simple.
@paulingo69 Elvis was wonderful and The Beatles were too. In the early time whe The Beatles staring at music and before it Elvis was their idol. But they grew up and were a high potence in music, The Beatles are actually the great pillar of music. Don't say that things, The Beatles and Elvis have different styles, "The King" did a good interpretation, but The Emperors are the originals and the original song have more feeling, listen Something of The Anthology....

@matizzle32 If I read your rubbishes I´ll keep in stupidity!. On the contrary i recommend to you the following bookd:
- Rockonomics" - The money behind the music
- Rock Around the Clock - The record that started the rock revolution
- Little Richard - Lifetimes.
You´ll see the truth about rock and roll that no Elvis fans knows.

Just keep reading my previous response...over and over again..until you gain a little bit of intellectual property yourself.

@paulingo69 It´s easy to explain. Elvis was not a good composer. So, the songs Elvis sings are not in the area of his intellectual property law.

Beatles have NOTHING over the King!!! Now that's how this song should have been sang.
