The 2003 SARS epidemic wreaked havoc on Taiwan. But as prevention work got underway, a sense of renewal was felt in all sectors of society. In the process, Taiwan's government and its health care system, with public support, were mobilized to cope with the disease. By overcoming this new virus, mankind was able to open a new chapter in disease prevention.
Compassion knows no boundaries. Please support Taiwan's WHO bid.
