@Wigwahm Thats some ballsweat, I really want to get a gaming computer and Battlefield 3 when it comes out so I can play it for the rest of my life.
-
@Wigwahm I did a little quick research for descent parts for as cheap as I could go. I got everything but keyboard, mouse monitor video card and OS for a little under 300 bucks. I would suggest saving up at least 500-600 bucks to get something started.
If you already have some parts, that's great, but that should mean that you'll want to spend a little more on certain parts so that you'll be able to upgrade without having to buy another mobo or some other parts that can get too expensive.

@ErectCactus Damn 300 bucks is not much to buy parts for a gaming PC, unless you already have some parts. If I bought all of the parts from the ground up, it would have cost me more than the 950 I got for these parts.
xcI'm going to try to research parts and see if I can get a gaming setup for 300 bucks, I don't think it's possible though :(

@Wigwahm can't afford rather build my own gaming pc out of 300 bucks.

@frenchfriesidiot I already had the graphics cards Crossfired 4890s. These parts are major upgrades that replaced a AM2+ mobo, DDR2 RAM, AM2+ CPU, and RAIDed 150 Raptor hard drives.
