MdL: Studio Upgrade @ Guitar Center

It's been awhile since I've upgraded my home studio, so today I wanted to take you along to my local Guitar Center. Special thanks to the guys over there- we tested and decided on Mackie HR824mk2 monitors and a few guitars: a Warwick Corvette 4 String Bass, Taylor 110 Dreadnought Acoustic, and a Gibson Les Paul Studio Deluxe Electric. A bit of musical indulgence, I know, but I believe in rewarding hard work with some fun. The place is coming together nicely!

do you think the HR824mk2's are better than the yamaha hs80m's? I'm trying to choose between them, and in the video it looks like you were able to test the yamaha's and Mackie's. please reply. peace.
