  • I agree with you, Boris Williams really understood how to synthesize his incredible technical skill on the drums with the cure's often minimalist sound and he made it work really well for the band. A great album that exemplifies this is "disintegration" where his beats are highly repetitive in the usual cure style but are also full of "jazz frills", unusual offbeats and other complex world beat styles. He complimented simon gallup's bass lines perfectly.
