On April 15, 2008, the RCMP executed a search warrant at Conservative Party Headquarters on behalf of the Elections Commissioner in order to seize documents related to the investigation of the In and Out scam. The warrant alleges that not only did the party exceed the maximum amount allowed for election expenses but the Conservative Fund may also have filed financial returns "that it knew or ought reasonably to have known contained a materially false or misleading statements."

There's a recording of one of the conservative leaders calling the MP's who didn't participate in the in & out scheme idiots. They did a good job downplaying this in the media.

RCMP executed a search warrant obtained by Elections Canada.
It's interesting to note that the Conservatives claimed they were "co-operating" with EC. Then the raid. They then tried to confuse this investigation with their civil suit *against* EC.
It's interesting to watch them remove files and such from the office, I think. Too bad we're having an election before the results are in.
