I love this. I remember staying up all night waiting for the Eddie's recordings.

I return to this one over and over, It eventually did end up on that Live album but I think it deserves a place on a proper record.

This song is the most perfect song that ever existed. It literally chokes me up every time I hear it. All John's song are amazing, but this one will always be particularly special to me. John you are one of a kind

@goingcommando22. Okay I just can't find it then. Someone else also said it was up but it doesn't come up with a search of that title, just bootlegs and covers. Would you mind posting the URL?

@robertsky11 Hahahaha....Glad to make a new friend....
I personally believe this is is one of his top 3 songs of all. Everything about it is just awesome. The guitar part is different than anything you hear and lyrically it's brilliant and very real. I relate very much to it. I wrote a song inspired by this one, it sounds nothing like it but the picking/strumming combo he does is what I incorporated. Anyways. Great song. Great musician. Those who think otherwise don't like him for not liking sake.

I'm a guy....and a huge john mayer fan....I literally cried the first time i saw him performing this on Where the Light Is. It's completely brilliant and fastly became probably my favorite of his works....the only songs that comes close to this is his Any Given Thursday performance of Covered in Rain....The solo is amazing.
