  • You should mention that people with newer homes need not do this. Unless you know your home is too leaky, you shouldnt seal it. Here, most homes from the early nineties and before are too leaky, but most after that are real close to too tight. I stopped doing the outlets, a whole house would take an hour or two and barely change our blower door reading, I can get way more home sealing done from the attic, or crawlspace.
