well that's easy to say when we have close ups of their faces. I think what she's doing is great considering the venue, and there's certainly more reasons than her voice why she is paid the big bucks!

She has a great voice, but regarding her stage appearance someone ought to tell her that less is more.

I am sorry but I find this scene is overdone by Fleming.

wonderful, fleming needs to stick to roles like this that fit her voice. it's really a great instrument when used correctly =)

Wow, she is excellent and what a convincing acting! As for him, a great Otello as usual (no surprise ;-) though I prefer the 1992 version from the ROH with Kiri Te Kanawa.

Das ist so schön. So wunderbare Musik! Wenn doch die Politiker endlich die Musik fördern würden statt sinnlose Kriege zu führen. Wo solche Musik lebt, darf nie wieder eine Waffe gebaut werden. Aber die Menschen werden weiter morden, weil sie z.T. schlimmere Furien sind als Otello. So viele machtgeile Schweine, die über Leichen gehen.
