The Real Santa @ Dendy Park 8/12/09

The Real Santa appeared at Bayside Carols at Dendy Park in Brighton, Melbourne, Australia on 8/12/09.

The event was a fundraiser for Bayley House which supports adults with intellectual disability, the night was hosted by Channel 10 weatherman Mike Larken and the Carols were led by some of Australia's most talented soloists and choirs.

Close to $8000 was raised for Bayley House and there were over 11,000 people in attendance which is a "great result" according to the Bayside City Council Mayor Cr Clifford Hayes. He also went on to say that "arguably the highlight of the evening was Santa's arrival, who was carried in on a chair by lifesavers".
