eh just throw it in the freezer don't gotta have salt... it'll freeze it i mean you did pull the ice out at like 4.5 degrees... that should be cold enough for ice cream lol

well if you live where there is snow and ice, you spread salt to prevent ice buildup on walking surfaces and roads.

Add sodium acetate to milk and see it all become uneatable hot ice.
