  • I remember this ending so vividly. It burned itself onto my brain.

  • @TheNightBadger TBH, mate it wasn't that much different from today, except for digital technology. Times change only superficially.

    :)

  • This is back in the mists of time for me. The periphery of my memory. I was 6 years old and I still think it's one of the scariest programmes I've seen. Weird and nightmarish.

  • Everything in the 70's was made by hippies and had 'social realism' to flavour it. Social realism made by hippies! I feel like I'm being slapped in the face with a concept album! Nice.

  • This is mind blowing when you consider when it was made.

  • They would NEVER make a show like this now. Shame.

  • Angela Richards, of course, Secret Army!!! Another superstar! Cracking singer, to boot.

  • Thanks Ken , nice work.

Philip Da Costa, what a star! Also excellent to see the grim realities of those of us who are not living on an estate in Berks.

  • Thanks so much for posting this. A fine exampole of what kids TV programmes were all about back then. Now I want to see Ep2 !

  • Fantastically nostalgic, from when kids tv was odd, inventive and grounded in reality and not colour corrected glossy and "aspirational".
