I think it's a beautiful painting. I do like the light and shadow play, further more, I enjoyed how you kept her lower half almost humanoid. Adds more realism to the fin being an extension rather than a covering. I've noticed with a lot of mermaid films or cartoons, they depict the tail/fin as something like a cover up rather than as part of the entire physiology. Great job. I really enjoyed it. It's ethereal, surreal, and almost frightening. Good job!!
