Yup, I4 is an east-west road, but through downtown Orlando it's actually traveling north-south. It turns north just after passing US441-OBT and turns back east around Fairbanks.

Just a comment on your info, I4 runs East and West, not North.

I ended up relocating to Holly Hill, Florida (suburb of Daytona Beach)and I love it out here guys!!!

Ormond Beach is full of old people. Palm Bay is full of petty crime. Take your pick.

do a thorough tour of Palm Bay and decide for your self(me, id choose Ormondo Beach, but its all up to you)
