Britney Spears' Producer Used Free Plugin's Preset?

THIS IS NOT A REMIX, NOR A REMAKE.

I was searching for free VSTs (software synthetisers) when I found Crystal. I was browsing the presets (pre-made instruments), just to see what was possible, when I found a preset that reminded me of a very popular song.

Did the producers credit the VST programmer and the person that made the preset?

The VST programmer and the person that made the preset specifically said it is OK to use WITHOUT credits. I own that free VST.

@cmavsmusic While that is correct, a lot of people see using presets as an amatuerish production method, and for some reason, working with plugins like Nexus and Massive automatically make you better than someone working with freeware stuff because you've paid more; people have wierd views on stuff like this.

I don't mind what people use personally though, cause I'm not wierd :D

well, not really. presets is made for demonstration purposes, and for producers to use them as a starting point. if i use a preset in my song, i twist myself totally away from the original sound... noob.
