I remember when this was all over the news in 1991. I don't think anything has ever made me as sick as these two psychopaths...and she is EVERY bit as guilty as he is. Hope they both die a slow painful death.

She is blonde and blue eyed of course she wil always be portrayed as a victim. She played so many people, she used THEIR naive image of white girls against THEM. She orchestrated the whole thing very,very well. Why in all her confessions did she not reveal the location of the tapes? She knew once the tapes were found she would have no deal.

She is a dangerous psychopath and should not be allowed to keep her child....paul should ahve beaten her to death.

Why is she depicted as a victim? She raped her own sister and assisted in the rape and murder of 2 young girls... she is a sociopath, she has no remorse.

The movie made her look like a victim. Now, I don't know if this will make sense, but the way the movie was done, from Karla's point of view, I think the writers wanted to show that in HER MIND SHE was the victim. Being from her point of view, I think they wanted to show how believable she was with her story to the police and how she came across as the victim. I don't think the writers believe she is a true victim, they just wanted to show how Karla believes it wasn't her fault.
