    It's interesting that chelSEY has the "proper" way to pronounce my last name. Thank you, Parker for this video. I've directed people to it many times to let them know how to pronounce my name. I'm a Garrard and I'm a Kentuckian, and proud of it!

    The name, which is English (home counties) is properly pronounced GARrard (accent on the first syllable, short a, ALL Rs pronounced), not Gair-ad.

    I went to paint lick elem. till 8th grade in 78 i think..then in 79 went to garrard county high! Loved it!!!! great video.
