  • What lure are you using??? I was there today I didn't catch a thing :(

  • @albertafishermen Pending on where I go and what kind of bottom it is. I'll switch it from F-18 Rapala to a Wally Diver. A few places the transition is from Mud, sand to rocky bottom with lots of debris. In the Vid there, it is primarily a muddy bottom. From Cranks, I switch it to a Pickeral Rig due to the bottom being about 4-5" of Mud. I move the bottom hook up a couple of inches just so the Minnow will still be presentable and not in the Mud...

  • Thanks I think I'm going to go with 10 lb in case I get a big pike. Thanks again

  • @91997john Good luck bud !! My PB on the Red Deer was a large hen shy of 14lbs

  • How many pound line you using I go there sometimes for trout and pike fishing.

  • @91997john Mostly 6-8 lb Test Mono. Other reels will be spooled with 12 lb Fireline

    for jiggin and casting Cranks

  • Where is this on the RDR?

  • i dont think your aloud to keep walleye oout of the river anymore

  • i live in red deer do you know of any good holes around here to catch sauger or any thing i usually catch eyes out at east bridge 5 minutes outside of red deer, what flies do you prefer also??wet/dry/streamers?sorry for all the questions at once, one more :p i reall wanna catch whitefish is it hard to get em on a fly rod??

  • Yes, but this hole is more primarily for Eyes. Have a couple places where I would catch way more Sauger than Eyes. Even some Saugeyes.
