LV Hull is a Mississippi folk artist whom my wife and I met during our Katrina Evacuation. Our amazing hosts (Brad and Ginger) suggested we go visit her museum/home. LV was moved up in the overburdened editing quay when I met a folk artist connoisseur a month ago and had to introduce him (and you) to the folk artist, LV Hull.

I met Miss LV several years ago and have a couple of her pieces. She was wonderful to be with, proud of who she was and what she did. May she rest in peace.

I had the privilege to meet LV Hull at her home a few years ago. She was a passionate woman and dedicated to her art. I bought two of her "dot" pieces ... one says "Jesus is real OK" and the other "If you don't know the truth, hush." She had a real vision of a life lived well, and expressed that in her art (it was never work to her). She will be missed! I hope Kosciusko is preserving her home as a museum in her memory!

This video tells a very important story about people, art and America. It also shows that education is not only found in schools and universities. Everyday people oftentimes do extrodinary things. Thank you David for telling this story.
