@onilum january is actually a shishimai, which is a lion. i believe it is borrowed from china.
february is just a snowman. march is girl's day, which is similar to children's day. but children's day is for boys. girl's day is to wish girls to get married sooner. april is the school entrance ceremony, because japanese school years start in april. june is rainy weather, july is playing at the beach, august is summer festivals, september is the moon festival, november is "autumn of reading."

My guess would be this is a video of a photoshoot for a cat-themed calendar, hence the 12 sections.
1 is most likely new years. Japan uses the western calendar but that's a Chinese dragon
5 shows carp streamers which are for Childrens Day on May the 5th (look up "Koinobori" on Wikipedia
10 and 12 are obviously Halloween and Christmas which have been borrowed from western culture.
I'll let someone else figure out what the rest of them are :)
