Christian Bale interview for The Dark Knight

I liked Bale in Little Women... but he's a little scary in his other roles!!

This is not Bales real accent, his real accent is a mix of Welsh/English.

This is the same accent (Southern American) as the character he plays in Public Enemies so I assume he was filming that at the time and kept the accent for that character all the time.

These method actors go to pretty incredible legnths to pull off there characters!

the strange thing abt christian bale is he tends to pick roles that downplay his talent he doesnt usually come in movies that show just how talented he is wen it comes to taking on extreme roles his character is usually in between. i think he has the abilty to interpret the joker as gud as ledger possibly

In Velvet Goldmine opposite Ewan McGregor he had a really heavy English accent. Now it's more "clean" so to speak.
