Beautiful soulful cover of a Beatles song. Just so mellow to listen to!

  • classic rendition, best version yet as the Paragons are better singers than the Beatles. i might be an 80's baby but this takes m'eback to my youth. sends shivers up my spine. Reggae music is the african heartbeat!

  • @Ringolero Oh I feel you on that. Think I'm gonna hafta borrow that last line.

  • Can I hear John Holt?

  • Good ear. John Holt was a member of The Paragons from 1964 to 70.

  • Is there any song you don't have? lol. Thanks for another great one

  • Many, many tunes out there I've not even thought of yet, but once you get going they all come flooding back! lol

    Isn't this tune just beautiful...

  • Wicked tune !! Better than the original ,but respect is still due to The Beatles!!

  • One of the only Beatles songs where the cover version is perhaps better than the original.

  • @Kwekwe totally agree

  • Tribute to my aunty!!! Truly love you...

  • wicked tune this. harmonies not of this earth.

  • @mrirule100 Man I just found it COURTNEY JOHN Win Some

  • Anyone know the name of the riddim?

Think I heard a version that goes 'You win some, you lose some, you gotta walk away'

  • 1 person loves beatles more then paragons :D

  • @Ringolero Reggae music is the African heartbeat nurtured inna Jamaica.

  • Heavenly sound. Apart from Esther Philips cover of 'And I Love Him' (which Lennon himself preferred to his own) this is undoubtedly one of the few examples of a Beatles number being elevated. Raising the song to another level.

Just... celestial. My Mum's name is Rosslyn too, so that adds to the love for me...

    Thanks for providing this. Peace.
