To all of those asking about or arguing the meaning of the title: it is a paradox. The song is about lack of meaning in life, and indeed, as pointed out earlier in the comment thread, the worship of empty things, and so on. Therefore, Muse looking up the words that come respectively before and after "Muse" in a dictionary actually adds to the message of the song. They wrote a song about lack of meaning in life and they gave it a meaningless title, and as such, the title actually has a meaning.

@IamTheScorchedEarth The name of the song is actually quite random. They couldn't decide on a name of the song, so they looked up the word muse in the dictionnary and picked the word just before (Muscle) and after (Museum). Courtesy of wiki :-)
