Host Mannie Gentile explores the history of U.S. Navy Destroyers in general and one in particular: the U.S.S. The Sullivans. This video (shot in 2003) also introduces the viewer to the dozens of destroyer veterans who volunteer their time to keep the "Sully" in shipshape condition as a museum ship in Buffalo New York.

Welcome aboard!

  • Mannie,

Love your videos. Thought you may enjoy a documentary I shot with a sailor who served aboard the Fletcher DD-445. He tells a couple of stories about his time on The Lucky 13 or The Fighting Fletcher. Keep up the great work.
