it depends on the purpose. it could have either of the mikes could have been used for back ups, it could have been used for EQ-ing by the audio guy, or the direct just wants more of an intimacy on stage.

Because Andrew Seeley was the singing voice for Troy in the first High School Musical. Seriously, he was. Zack Efron didn't sing a thing in the first movie. He did for the other two, but not the first one.
