will and a s-111 die on the way to the core and kurt sets off a nuke just as an indestructable vault shuts to kill the covenant. the vault sends the other ppl mentioned through slipstream space to a giant world inside a dome and they try to find a way out. thats when mc goes missing in space. that explains why there are no other spartans in the halo games 1, 2, 3, odst

you should have put in stuff from the halo books.. assuming you've read them. about 2.5 months after mc blows up halo 1 Fred, Kelly, Kurt, will, Dr. Halsey, SCPO mendez, and some of the spartan 3's (Gamma company) are on Onyx holding off an armada of covenant, preventing them from getting inside onyx (now known to be a forerunner city) and getting forerunner technology. //(not enough room continued on next comment)\\

This games plot is so fucking confusing. This video answered a lot of my questions, but it was hell watching those 5 minute cut scenes and not understanding a fucking word of them.
